Use the Lasso Tool

The Municipal Search Bar includes the Lasso Tool, allowing users to select parcels within an irregularly shaped area by drawing a freehand boundary around them. When the tool is active, a green outline appears around it, indicating it’s ready for use.

To use the tool, simply click and drag around parcels on the map; any highlighted parcels will automatically appear in the Search Results area. This feature allows users to create a selection of parcels based on custom boundaries, which is particularly useful for focused data analysis or generating a mailing list.

After selecting parcels, users can further refine their results by adding or removing parcels directly on the map. This flexibility ensures that the final selection is tailored to specific needs, enabling a more precise data set or targeted mailing list.
