Overview of Website
Welcome to your public GIS website overview. Here, I'll guide you through the primary tools and functionalities available for users.
The Municipal Search Box, located at the top left, enables you to search by entering information such as the record's Unique ID, Owner, Street Name, or Address. For guidance on how to search, refer to the "What and How to Search" section. The Lasso Tool allows you to draw a selection area to capture all parcels within, while the Select Tool, typically enabled by default, enables direct parcel selection to view detailed information. To clear selected parcels or graphics without refreshing the page, use the Clear Button. If a full reset is needed, refresh your browser.
On the Left Panel, information dynamically adjusts based on the operation in progress. The Search Results section displays a property image, essential information, and supplemental links. When a user selects a search result, a Detail View provides additional links, in-depth property details, and access to the Abutters tool, which reveals intersecting properties within a designated buffer area.
The Layer List displays active layers that can be toggled on or off. Use the Filter Tool to streamline data, ensuring accurate extraction and minimizing errors. When lists are displayed or the Abutters tool is activated, the Mailing tab will appear, allowing you to export a mailing list in PDF or CSV format.
The Right Panel functions as the Options Menu. Within it, the Legend provides easy interpretation of map symbols and data, while the Aerial Toggle allows you to switch between different aerial imagery layers for varied perspectives. Bookmarks give quick access to frequently used locations, and you can integrate custom data overlays through the Add REST Service option. For further assistance, the Help Section offers resources to navigate and use the platform. If you encounter technical issues, use the Report an Issue feature to submit feedback or request support.
